Pattern Description:

I had the good fortune to attend a spinning and weaving exhibition recently, where quality yarn was also available for sale. I came across the Donegal tweed and thought it would make a great hat. As I was knitting it up, it went through my mind how it would resemble a dessert - hence the name!


22 stitches and 32 rows over 10cm (4in) using 4.5mm needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One size fits most


  • 1 ball Sirdar Donegal Tweed and 4.5mm d/p and/or circular needles
