I made this for my son's wedding. Absolutely adorable with easy instructions. However, it needs a heavy lining and instructions for sewing the lining. It is so floppy as to be basically useless. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

I'm so sorry you had this result and feel like your finished object is useless, no one ever wants that to happen.

I, myself, am not a sewer, so I cannot give you specific directions to add a lining. I am guessing that if you sew, you could take measurements and add a fabric lining fairly easily. I know many times when people add sewing to their knits, they sew the fabric to the knits using a needle and thread, not a machine. I would suggest sewing the inside "pouch" piece using your sewing machine and then attaching it to the inside of the purse by hand.

Again, I'm sorry you are feeling this way, and I hope my response was at least somewhat helpful.

As I said, it turned out absolutely adorable. I have since done some other projects and I think that perhaps interfacing with a sewn-in lining will do the trick. If I can figure out how to line it to make it less floppy, I will certainly make more. The pattern is lovely and very easy to make. Thanks for your suggestions. Jan
