Pattern Description:

This is just a basic cap with no slouch for 'guys with big heads' (not really)

My son Dane, who thinks he has a large head for his body, didn't like the slouchy hats because he says it makes his head look bigger. However, I just don't see it. I think because he is very bright, he needs that big head for his brains. But you have to make what the men want. So here is my skull cap for Dane.

The cool part of this pattern is that if you are using only one color, one skein should be enough. I bought one of four colors, and I am hoping to make four hats by making the stripes.

Gauge:

Gauge: 2" = 10 stitches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

22"-24"

Materials:

One skein worsted wool for main color
Small amount of two contrasting colors
Size 6 (4mm) 16" circular needle
Size 6 (4mm) double pointed needles
