My daughter is a photographer specializing in newborn photography. She asked me to design a lacey looking bonnet with openness that would draw attention to the delicate features of a newborn. This design is patterned after one of my favorite knitted baby afghans. You will love the way it fits and contours around baby's face and how easy and quick it stitches up. A simple 3 row repeat pattern makes it easy to memorize. It also looks fantastic in angora yarn.

I have been both knitting and crocheting for 40+ years. I enjoy making baby items, gifts for family and friends, and making photography props for my daughter's business. I love to try new patterns! I am married and have 4 grown children and 2 grandaughters that all have to put up with my addiction and yarn hoarding!!
