Skill Level:

medium skill level requirement Intermediate

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • some stranded knitting experience with two colors

Pattern Description:

Inspired by the Tour de France this beanie came into existence.
And it became even better than I had imagined.

8 cyclists race around the body of the beanie and 8 even smaller ones at the crown.

Numbers, times and No 1 T-shirts surround the cyclists.

Notes for smaller and bigger head sizes are included.

I used 4-ply sock yarn from Buttinette sckli and Opal to knit the beanie.

You can also use bigger needle size and 5-ply yarn to make a more slouchy version.

Note: there are at most two colors in one row.

Enjoy and happy knitting!
