Pattern Description:

Just in time for the Olympic winter games.. Enjoy this fun and colorful curling beanie!
It has curling stones in different colors all around and a curling field(Sheet) as border pattern and also at the crown. You could also finish it with a red pompon.

You can use any 4-ply Acrylic, Merino or sock yarn.

Knitting gauge: 1 x 1 inch: 7 stitches and 8 rows in stranded knitting

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • This beanie fits size S and M. (about 53 to 56 cm head circumreference)
  • For bigger heads use needle size 3.25 mm or 3.5 mm or/and use 5-ply yarn or both


  • You need about: 35 g of white 4-ply sock yarn, 20 g of yellow 4-ply sock yarn, 20 g of red 4-ply sock yarn, 20 g of red 4-ply sock yarn, 20 g of blue 4-ply sock yarn.
  • Alternatively you can use 4- to 5-ply Acrylic or Merino yarn
  • Circular needle 40 cm 3.00 mm and 5 double pointed needles size 3.00 mm for the top of the head.

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle to weave in the ends
  • olympic spirit and knitting fun!

Suggested yarn:

230 yards of Fingering weight
