Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit in the round, Slip Sts, Bind Off, I-cord and Provisional crochet cast-on.

Pattern Description:

As a owner of a yarn shop, Your Local Yarn Shop, in Battle Creek and a mother of 4, I am always looking for projects that provide easy opportunity to grow knitting skills without frustration.

I design things that look complicated but are really very easy. This cowl is double layered and has the look of double knitting, but is simply just a wide circle folded in half! The color-work also looks complicated but there is no carrying of yarns and is achieved by simply slipping sts!

Try it and I know you'll enjoy the Crossing the Lines Cowl.

4 -4.5 sts per inch in Stockinette before blocking.
3.5 sts per inch in Stockinette after blocking.
