This pattern is written for multiple weights of yarn, and gives the option for a cowl or infinity scarf that can be worn long or doubled. Instructions are also provided for a basic scarf and a sideways knit scarf. This stitch pattern is ideal for multicolored yarns as well as solid colors. The broken rib doesn't compete with the colors for attention and the pattern doesn't get lost in the color. A cowl in super bulky can be knit in an afternoon and the worsted weight version in just a day or two. Knit in an indulgent fiber, this makes a great gift. Samples shown: Malabrigo worsted in Colorinche and Cascade Magnum in gray.
written for multiple gauges and weights of yarn. 60-500 yards needed, depending on preferred length and weight.
