This pattern is designed for knitters of any ability, requiring only cast on, knit, purl, and bind off abilities. Each rendition will be unique as it entirely depends on the tri-color variegated yarn you choose to knit with. Tri-color hand painted yarn is particularly perfect for this pattern. Experienced knitters will be able to whip through this college course in a day or less, which makes it a great gift!
Note: tri-color yarn is required!
Tech edited by Katherine Vaughan, who commented, "it's after all a pretty nifty idea and not your usual loopy scarf."

While hospitalized for a long while, I sought an enjoyable distraction from the daily drudgery of medical tests. Having learned some basic knitting skills as a young girl from my talented Baba and very creative great grandmother, I decided to again try my hand at this craft. Knitting quickly became a passion as a single sweater accelerated into creating my own designs for both myself and others to enjoy.
The diagnosis of neurotoxicity, organ damage, and chemical sensitivity mandates an isolated lifestyle free from the impact of modern day chemicals. Eco Chic Knits was conceived with this in mind. As I began to formulate new designs, two key philosophies were foremost in my thinking:
1. Knits that fit curves
2. Unique and intricate patterns
Hence, Eco Chic Knits' debut publication of the "Relaxed Petal Ruffle Scarf." An immediate positive response indicated a niche market.
Concurrently, I am privileged to pursue a Masters of Arts in Philosophy through distance education and am the author of a children's book series, "Cheeky's Tales." The series is based on my Great Dane, Cheeky. In her first adventure, "Cheeky's Security Blanket," Cheeky learns about self-identity and materialism through several incidents involving her collar.
I hope you derive as much enjoyment in working up my patterns as I have had in creating them! Today is a good day to Knit :-)
