A tasseled shawl in quick Garter Stitch.
A HD video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZpu1QibnV4 ) illustrates the cast-on and bind-off technique to achieve the neat continuous i-cord edging on all three sides, with little loops at the tips.
You can knit it with other yarn weights, just choose needles that form a pleasing fabric. You can easily knit it bigger you just need more yarn!
Skills: provisional cast on, increases, decreases, grafting (only three stitches :)
No purling! ;)
11 stitches and 22 rows = 4 inches in Garter St
375 yards of Chunky weight

This is my website: www.innerShelter.net where I have a virtual gallery for my enamelled jewellery and information about my knitting patterns.
With a background in arts and crafts and design, it was only a matter of (little) time until I started designing knitted items. I am just getting started, and loving it. My blog is: http://inner-shelter.blogspot.be/
