I love this bulky yarn - Rowan Coccon, it has a lovely shimmer and is surprisingly soft.
I had some left over from making a hat, just enough for a pair of mitts. But I couldn't find a suitable pattern. So I designed my own, with a lace panel up the back of the hand.
As the yarn is bulky they knit up very quickly. I made mine to cover the wrist, but you can make them longer if you wish.
approx. 8 sts to 2 inches

I always have a hook or pair of needles close by; my fingers do not like to rest. After reacquainting myself with my old hobbies, I progresed to creating my own designs. Those who have tried my designs will know that I love creating simple designs that look very effective, after all life doesn't need to be complicated! And I understand that many people like a bit of television or music knitting/crochet, so the easier they are the better it is to enjoy the world around you whilst enjoying your craft.
