Stefanie Japel learned to knit from her grandma when she was 8 years old. She grew up wearing her sweaters and borrowing the ones she made for other people. Most of these sweaters are raglans, knit in the round from the top. Stefanie continues this sweater-making tradition.

Initially, I designed this cowl just for me, but BOTH of my daughters loved mine so much that I decided to add a smaller size, too. They LOVE their cowls, and they reeeally love when we all wear them together.
The larger cowl takes about 2 skeins of the Rowan Polar to knit (250 yards) and the small cowl takes about 125 yards.
Gauge: 3.5 sts = 1" on US 10.5 needle in pattern stitch
