Pattern Description:

Initially, I designed this cowl just for me, but BOTH of my daughters loved mine so much that I decided to add a smaller size, too. They LOVE their cowls, and they reeeally love when we all wear them together.

The larger cowl takes about 2 skeins of the Rowan Polar to knit (250 yards) and the small cowl takes about 125 yards.


Gauge: 3.5 sts = 1" on US 10.5 needle in pattern stitch


  • 3 Skeins Rowan Cocoon, color of your choice (sample shown in Polar) Fiber Content: 80% Merino Wool, 20% Kid Mohair Weight/Yardage: 100 g / 126 yds Knitting Weight: 5-Chunky

You Will Also Need:

  • US size 10.5 16" circular needle, Darning needle, Stitch markers

Suggested yarn:

375 yards of Chunky weight
