Pattern Description:

This hat is a photographer's delight. Whether mommy or daddy, or a professional in studio, this knit will add character to any photo shoot. It's a super quick project with chunky yarn and large needles. Take care not to leave any infant unattended with this garment as the long tail presents a hazard. It also becomes impractical once infant becomes mobile!


12 sts and 16 rows per 4 inches in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished Circumference: 12(14) inches
  • Size: Newborn (3-9 months)


  • 35(45) yards each in 4 colorways of super bulky weight yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • Size 11(8mm) 16" circular needles and set of 5 DPNs, stitch marker
