Pattern Description:

These mittens are designed to be knit in the round with a thumb that i knit as you go. The wrist is deep and sized Adult M/L as written. You can change the size of the mitten by downsizing the needles and the yarn.

I was forever having mittens with no thumbs in my to be finished pile. I hated going back to add on the mittens. I needed lots of mittens for our local farmer's market holiday season and came up with this unique way of knitting your thumb while you go, without having to go back and finish at the end.

Gauge:

10 stitches to 4in/10cm

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

From Women's Large/Men's Medium on down to toddler

Materials:

60 yards super bulky yarn
or 120 yards worsted to be held double
or bulky (80 yards), heavy worsted (100-120 yards), or light worsted (150 yards) for variations of the pattern
5 size US 15 (10mm) dpn needles
