Pattern Description:
Chou is an eternity loop cowl knit in the round. It can be worn as either a long loop around your neck or it can be doubled for warmth. It is also easily modified to create a shorter and/or wider cowl. With both charts and written instructions, knitters are able to choose the most comfortable way to follow the pattern.
I knit the sample shown using a skein of Twisted Fiber Art's Arial Evolution in "Mon Petit Chou" which translates to "My Little Cabbage". As soon as I had this skein in hand, I knew that I wanted to evoke the curvy leaves of a cabbage and hope that you can see it in the lace.

25 sts/37 rows = 4 inches in stockinette on US size 5 needles
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 59" around by 6" tall

- Approximately 400 yards of fingering weight yarn

- Twisted Fiber Art Arial Evolution 100% merino with 340 yards/70 grams - used approx. 350 yards/72 grams
- 1 US size 5 (3.75 mm), 24-inch circular or length preferred for weight of yarn
