I have been knitting for 58 years and since the grandchildren arrived have been knitting daily. I decided I wanted to create easy predominantly seamless knitting projects because I love knitting in the round, and more important I hate to sew pieces together!
I have had many wonderful comments from knitters who have created items from my patterns and like their finished projects, but should you come across a flaw or something that doesn't seem quite right in the instructions, I hope you will contact me! Contact me at email@example.com with any of your questions or concerns.
You are free to sell your finished items, but please give me credit for the pattern.
Thank you and happy knitting!
I wanted to design a cowl, more or less, that did not need to be worn scrunched up but rather worn flat around the neck showing off the pretty pattern. It is not only attractive, but very warm using the yarn doubled and will go great with pullover sweaters or under a coat or jacket.
The hand warmers were more of an afterthought. They match the neck warmer, but are made on smaller dpns and the yarn is not doubled. They fit beautifully and are very soft and warm as well.
The best thing about the entire project is that it only takes one skein (251 yards) of yarn. What a great gift this would make for a fall or winter birthday or the winter holidays.
15 sts and approx. 20 rows = 4 inches in the chevron pattern
