I have added some colour to my vintage bag with a knitted cherry.
As this only requires small amounts of yarn, this is an ideal pattern for using up the ends of balls of wool. You could make your cherry as a pin or brooch, as a hanging decoration, or for dolls houses or toy boxes.
The pattern is written so it is easier for beginners to follow. The pattern includes instructions and lots of photos to help you.
All pieces are knitted flat on straight needles, except the i-cord stalks which are knitted on two double pointed needles (DPNs).
