Charcoal Pearls Cashmere Scarf

from By Hand, With Heart
(6) Name: 'Knitting : Charcoal Pearls Cashmere Scarf

Charcoal Pearls Cashmere Scarf
Charcoal Pearls Cashmere Scarf

Pattern Description:

Beads AND cashmere ... how much more elegant can you get? The loft and halo of the cashmere softens the pearl-beads (so they don't even touch your skin) but catch the light and glimmer with a sophisticated glow.

I originally designed this scarf for a "getting cozy with cashmere" workshop I was leading down at Spring Gate Farms -- this didn't make the cut as one of the sample designs to knit, but I love it!

The simple mock cable pattern (charted and written directions) is quickly memorized while the pre-strung beads are simply slipped into place as explained in the pattern.

A classic that will get you lots of compliments!
