Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Decreasing
  • Beginner lace

Pattern Description:

Since a fitted hat is meant to be warm, and since this one is lacy, I choose a yarn that would give me some halo in the finished hat.

Angora really does the job nicely. Alpaca would also be great. Since a hat needs to have some memory to keep it's shape and not drape, the yarn also needs to have a good balance of wool in it.Angora Garden's Corriedale/Angora was perfectly suited for my lovely, lacy fitted hat!

I hope you enjoy your hat as much as I do mine!
