My knitting adventures began just after my youngest child was born in 2006. I took a free basic knitting class at my then local library in Aurora, Illinois. It became an addiction! In Jan. 2008 we transplanted to the San Francisco Bay area, where my knitting really started to take shape as I had the chance to do some production knitting for http://woolandkashmir.com and http://breakingthewool.mybigcommerce.com
I am now diving into creating my own designs and patterns which I hope to begin publishing one day in the near future. I have two beautiful children and a lot of yarn! I'm a knitting/crochet instructor at Beverly's Fabric & Crafts store. Reading and knitting are like therapy to me! Both help me to unwind after a busy and hectic day! Originally from Oklahoma, I have traveled worldwide and I now eat, sleep and knit in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I just love the look and feel of textured knits! This hat combines 3 of my favorite stitches in one unique design. Get ready for some fun... This one will definitely keep you in a variety of stitches! Enjoy!
