This firm fit beanie is worked in a four row cable pattern and the brim is worked in rib.
The crown shaping rows are written out for you, to ensure the pattern continues to follow up.
With just four rows to the cable pattern, this is a great introduction for anyone new to knitting cables.
The cable and rib pattern in this beanie matches my lady's cable and rib jacket, the pattern for which can be bought from my Craftsy store. A 5ply version of this beanie is also available from my Craftsy store.
Please note that this pattern is protected by copyright and you do not have permission to copy or resell this pattern. You may, however, sell the knitted product.
29 sts and 29 rows to 10cm over cable patt, using 4.00mm needles.

My mum taught me to knit when I was just four years old and I have been addicted ever since.
I now work (if you can call it work!) as a pattern writer and technical editor, both for companies here in Australia and for my own business.
I love the creative process and using a simple ball of yarn and a pair of needles to make something gorgeous yet practical.
