Pattern Description:

A fluttering, large shawlette, knit with Estonian motifs of blueberries, leaves, and a butterfly edging. Knit with under one skein of Handmaiden Mini Maiden or from that skein of sock yarn that's just a little precious to use on your feet, it will drape beautifully around your neck and shoulders when a plain old neck scarf just won't do, and will keep you warm during your autumnal forest romps.

Pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

Gauge:

22 sts and 24 rows = 4in (10cm) in Leaf Pattern.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 30in at the widest point and 30in from tip of wings to point (76cm x 76cm) (adjustable)

Materials:

  • 540 yards of fingering weight yarn
  • One pair US 5 (3.75mm) circular needles, at least 24in/60cm in length.
