Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Stockinette Stitch; Cable stitches

Pattern Description:

The name of this knitted beanie is derived from the lower portion resembling bowls of oatmeal, with the top half being the buttery topping. The beanie is knit on straight needles and seamed.


Stockinette stitch:
4 sts across = 1"


  • 6 ounces worsted yarn, in ecru / eggshell
  • 6 ounces worsted yarn, in yellow
