Pattern Description:
This is just plain fun to knit....and wear! Fast and easy, too.
It is a simple shape with the tassels and braids knit into the design.
One seam for the back and another to close the top (or bottom if it a purse). Only the purse is felted.
Gauge:
3.5 sts / 5.5 rows = 1",
Materials:
- Bulky wt. wool recommended.
- Suggested yarn: Brown Sheep Lambs Pride Bulky, 15% mohair, 85% wool. 4 oz.
- Hat: 1 skein of MC and 1 skein of color CC.
- Purse: 1 skein of MC and 1 skein of CC.
- Hat and Purse: 2 skeins of MC and 1 skein of CC.
- 24" Circular needle in US10. Even though both the hat and purse are knit flat, you want the length of the circular needle.
