Skill Level:

small skill level requirement Beginner

Pattern Description:

Inspired by Wool Dispensary Yarns' circus colorways palette, this cowl's bold blocks of color, and two-tone knitted braids (completely explained in the pattern) make this cowl a fun and quick colorwork project. Bright and bold, it's reminiscent of showman extraordinaire (and mayor of Bridgeport, Connecticut) Phineas T. Barnum, but it looks fabulous in cool neutrals as well!

The pattern includes instructions for a small single cowl and a double length infinity cowl.

18 sts and 24 rows to 4" in Stockinette Stitch. Differences in gauge will impact the finished size of the cowl and the yardage used, but are not crucial to fit

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Small (22" circumference) and Large (44"circumference)

  • 200 (400) yards DK weight yarn equally divided in two colors
  • US 6/4mm circular needle with a 16" cable for size Small or a 24" cable for size Large

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle
  • stitch marker
