'Braid - 'Warm Me Up ' Arm Warmer Front view of Braid cable

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • How to make a cable

Pattern Description:

This is another one of my fav patterns. It's called a braid pattern. Here is some information...................

CO: 29
Finished Size: 6 inch width 9 inches tall
Gauge: 4.83 stitches per inch
SIZE: US size 10.5 needle

ABBREVIATIONS
WYIB: with yarn in back (as if to knit)
S1: Slip 1 (always purl wise)
C6B: Slip 3 to cable needle and hold in back, K3 then K3 from cable needle
C6F: Slip 3 to cable needle and hold in front, K3 then K3 from cable needle

The surrounding stitches I used was a slip stitch pattern along with a Purl1. This will keep your arm warmer where it should be. It won't turn on you. It's sturdy, it's comfortable, and won't stretch out by taking it off and on over and over again. The perfect combination!

Hope you enjoy the arm warmer....
Thanks
Heather
