Pattern Description:

These skully mittens may look challenging, but they are in fact a quick and easy make, The beads are applied with a crochet hook as you knit (so no need to thread hundreds of beads onto your yarn). There are written instructions for this beading technique along with links to some great videos to get you beading with confidence.

Fancy knitting these without beads? It's the same pattern but instead of applying beads work the motif using intarsia or duplicate stitch"


32sts x 44rows = 10cm x 10cm using 2.5mm needles and stocking stitch


  • 2.5mm DPN's for teens and ladies

You Will Also Need:

  • 0.6mm crochet hook if beading
  • 300 size 6/0 seed beads

Suggested yarn:

200 yards of Fingering weight
