The Blueberry Clutch Evening Bag is simply constructed. The beauty is in the wool, and the texture of the stitches. With this pattern you can make yourself the most sophisticated accessory.
I have not recommended a wool, as I thought this would be too limiting. I am going to knit a few to go with different outfits. My finished bag in the photos is 20cm by 13cm, and took just under 50g of wool. If you want to make a larger bag I explain in the pattern how the bag can very simply be made wider.
The knitting is not hard: with the main section of the bag knitted in a bobble stitch, and a chevron section on the flap.
The pattern also explains how to line the bag, and you can also have fun here picking a stunning lining fabric.
I have always liked making things, and although I have been knitting a lot recently, I also like sewing and other crafts.
I live on the outskirts of London, and work part-time at a local school, and have partly got back into making things because my children are always doing something creative. At school I love the days when we get really messy.
