Pattern Description:

A cashmere cowl to cuddle your neck or worn as a headband is always a great idea. Here, the stitch reminds me of birds in flight ... over a field of snow. This lace pattern, a repeat of 27 stitches over 10 rnds, is easy to memorize, making the knitting smooth and easy ... and knitting it in cashmere means your hands are treated to the softness and beauty of the fiber while knitting.

And the warmth of cashmere ... wow!

This design is knit completely in the round and uses a minimal amount of cashmere -- great bang for your buck!

3-1/2" x 1" - one pattern repeat (unblocked)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 19" diameter x 5" high (blocked)

  • approx 80 yards of fingering weight cashmere ( sample used Spring Gate Farm's 100% US Cashmere in a natural ivory)
