Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit
  • knit in the round
  • K3TOG (knit 3 stitches together at the same time)
  • P2TOG (purl 2 stitches together at the same time)
  • KFB (knit into the front and back of the same stitch)

Pattern Description:

A beautiful and striking slouch hat that adds a wow factor to any outfit. Little "berries" are knitted throughout the hat for a unique and stylish pattern. Uses a super bulky yarn, so it can be knit up in a weekend or less!

I would rate this for a medium level knitter. If you are a beginner and ready to move to the next level, then this might be a great project for you!


Sized for teens and adults : 20"-23" circumference.

Gauge:

10 stitches and 14 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Materials:

  • US 11 (8.0mm) circular knitting needles 16"(41cm) length
  • US 15 (10.0mm) circular knitting needles 16"(41cm) length
  • US 15 (10.0mm) DPN (double pointed needles) for decreasing
  • 108 yards (98 meters) super bulky weight yarn
