Designed for chilly weather, this stylish beanie is perfect for keeping little ones warm. Knit in a soft wool, it is still tough enough for even the most adventurous little bean. This is a simple, easy knit (great for using up stash yarn) and the I-cord "sprouts" and the attention-getting stripes add a bit of spunky fun.
Pattern includes helpful photos and instructions including notes on all the techniques described.
6 stitches and 7.5 rows = 1 inch in stockinette stitch

I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and I am constantly inspired by the beautiful landscape around me. I find translating the beauty of nature into a one-of-a-kind knitted garment to be a fascinating puzzle. Designing is a blast and I very much enjoy seeing a project go from an initial design sketch to a finished product and pattern. Even better is seeing another knitter confidently and easily knit up one of my pattern designs.
Having two little ones myself, I understand how picky children can be about clothing, especially knitted ones. I design all my patterns with the comfort and ease of movement that energetic children need, in mind. Not to mention, I know how much moms need easy-to-read instructions while they are busy multi-tasking while knitting! :-)
