If you have trouble finding the pattern on Craftsy, you can download it from our website at http://www.knitca.com/patterns/basketweavescarf
I'm sorry but I can't seem to find the pattern. has it been taken off?? Or maybe I'm just having a senior moment.
canna seem to find that "free" pattern itself eigther. maybe thats the reason its free, that it actually doesnt give you the pattern.
add it to your shopping cart... you will get an email link to download
Anneli, I am sorry you can't find the pattern. I've just posted another link, that leads you to this pattern. The reason it is free is not to mislead you and cause you trouble. This pattern is free simply because I wanted to share this design with you. Happy knitting :-)
I would also like to know how to make this into an afghan.
Cast on a multiple of 12 stitches + 2 selvage stitches to make the scarf as wide as you need. Happy knitting :-)
Gorgeous! Thanks for the pattern!
how did you get the pattern itself? canna find the spot to download it.
Very pretty - first glance I thought this was a blanket ... now I'm going to wake it one!
This is not your usual basketweave pattern!!
This is so unusual. I can't wait to try it. Thank you for the pattern.
LOVE Love love the way this looks nut am unclear about the instructions for the even rows of " knit the stitches as they present themselves" . Please explain. many thanks!
I think it means if it is a knit appearing stitch, knit - if it apears to be a purl stitch, purl
I wondered about that, also. Could someone please just write out the instructions for the even rows?
Oh I think I'm going to make a mess of this first time, I don't really recognise the stitches :(
How can I make this in to an afghan size? It is beautiful!
When I seen this pattern the first thought was how can I make this into an afghan.... It is just what I have been looking for
My pc won't let me download the pattern but I too would love to make it into an afghan...or even a bedspread...
Could you please explain what this part of the pattern means?"All wrong side rows: work sts as they present themselves"Thank you-EllenBB
It sounds to me like knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches. So if the stitch is smooth knit it. If it is a bump then purl it.
