Pattern Description:

My love of trees and the textures of Bark inspired this pattern, which is easy to knit and suitable for the adventurous beginner. There are no purl rows which, together with dropped stitches makes for a speedy knit. The pattern is textured and easy yet interesting to knit

A cosy shawl perfect for the chilly weather in 2 sizes, with an option to work in stripes. It is easily customisable for size as well. It could even be worked in a heavier wight yarn for a luxuriously warm wrap to see you through the coldest weather.

It is triangular and worked from the top down and although there is patterning on wrong side rows, the pattern is simple and rhythmic to work - perfect telly knitting in fact.

The very detailed instructions cover 6 pages and are both fully written and charted. The pattern has been tech edited and fully tested to eliminate the chances of errors.

There is pattern support on my Ravelry group here: as well as by email at

I live in rural mid Wales in a small house, well insulated with yarn. When not compulsively knitting shawls, I can be found pottering in my garden and finding inspiration from the welsh countryside.
I've recently begun designing my own patterns and especially love working with texture and colours, although I love lace designs too. I try to create patterns that are easy to use and aimed at the ...
