Two patterns for women's barefoot sandals, quick and easy to knit! One in a V shape, flattering to the leg, with ties that you can fix at the back or cross at the back and tie at the front. The other has more coverage and a lacy triangle which ties at the back. Make them for beach weddings, to take on holiday, or as gifts. Embellish them with beads, buttons or bells - or leave them unadorned and let the yarn shine through. Because they are simple and have long ties, it doesn't matter what size foot you are knitting for - so you can make these as gifts and not worry about sizing!
I have been knitting for decades - aran sweater, designer garments, baby and toddler clothes. My recent foray into pattern designing has been so rewarding, and such fun - I am now often seeking inspiration all around me! I also have a one-year-old grand-daughter for whom I love making unique garments.
