Pattern Description:

This pattern is for an adorable, very soft and warm set for a baby girl in size 3-6 months. The set is made in a cashmere blend yarn.

The hat and mittens are knitted on straight needles and require some sewing.

The set is made in a fingering weight yarn WITH TWO STRANDS OF YARN HELD TOGETHER to obtain the worsted weight gauge of 5 sts per 1" in stockinette stitch.

It can be made in any worsted weight yarn to obtain the gauge in the pattern.

Needles: US #5 (3.75mm) or other needles to obtain the gauge in the pattern

Finished Measurements:


Circumference: 13" relaxed
Height: 5.5"


Circumference: 5"
Height: 3.5"

Gauge: 5 stitches per 1" in stockinette stitch


5 sts per 1"

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 3-6 months


  • 2 balls of Peruvian Baby Cashmere in cream color

You Will Also Need:

  • US #5 straight needles
  • 3.25 mm crochet hook
  • a tapestry needle

Preferred Brand/Yarn: Peruvian Baby Cashmere ( two strands of yarn)
