Little shawls, the kind that wrap around your neck, are my favorite lace item to design and knit. I want my shawls to drape beautifully no matter how they are worn, and that's how I design them.
Avira begins from the bottom, and then gradually decreases to the top. The more you knit, the faster it goes with less and less stitches.
Because of the shaping, you can wear this shawlette wrapped around your neck, tied in front, bib-style, any way you want. It will lay beautifully!
