I have sold this aviator hat for quite a few years. It has been one of my best sellers. Everybody loves this hat! Do to popular demand I have now decided to sell the knittting pattern for this hat.
It is a classic aviator hat that is great for either boys or girls. This pattern has information for a striped or a one colour hat.
This hat is knitted on a pair of straight needles, it is not knitted in the round.

- 50-100gms (depending on size) of DK Double knit wool. A pair of 4 1/2mm (US#7) straight needles. A darning(tapestry needle)

I left school and studied at art school for 6 years. I spent my first two years experimenting with many arts and crafts. I finally chose textiles and spent a further 4 years studying knitwear design. I so loved my time at art school and I have had a wonderful career as a knitwear designer for the last 20 years. Once you've got the bug it stays with you for life!.
