With the creation of this new pattern I have merged my favorite style "Art Nouveau" with the Orenburg knitting framework. While the patterning in the scarf has a flowing lace feel, it is created with simple knit return rows and only a few stitch types on the patterned rows. This pattern is therefore suitable for anyone to knit - even near beginning knitters. The pattern requires chart reading, but the chart only uses four stitch types making it a great introduction to chart reading. The first few rows are written out as well to make transitioning to the chart as easy as possible. This pattern also includes an integrated lace border, which is written out in detail and eliminates the need for assembly.
