Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knitting, purling, basic pattern reading (yo, k2tog...)

Pattern Description:

Knit back & forth on either straight or circular needles, this cowl is knit not quite as long as a traditional scarf. It is then bound off and the ends are seamed together, forming a continuous loop. This loop can be worn in it's long form, or doubled up as in the picture to warm the entire neck.

gauge is dependent on personal preference for this project. The goal for this cowl is a loose, lofty drape without compromising stitch definition. A tighter gauge will require additional yardage.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 46" in length

  • Yarn: 1 skein Berroco Flicker. Needles: US 13 - 9.0 mm straight or circular

You Will Also Need:

  • darning needle
