Skill Level:

medium skill level requirement Intermediate

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should already know how to knit in the round on double point needles and have some experience knitting lace.

Pattern Description:

I love the longer length of these cuffs. They are perfect with 3/4 length sleeves to keep your arms warm or will fit easily over a sweater sleeve if needed. This pretty lace is not very open, producing a warmer mitten.

The pattern is Number 1 in a series of Loving Hands mitten patterns created to support the mission of Harmony Hill Retreat Center. I was very fortunate to be the recipient of much love, support and teaching at one of their free cancer retreats. and was inspired to find a way to help support them in their mission.

I hope you enjoy making these as much as I did!

I cannot resist a ball of alpaca, silk or cashmere. I used to be a mostly recreational knitter but recently discovered the joys and tears of designing my own patterns. My first projects will be patterns and loving hands mittens to support my favorite charities.
