Mittens, hat, and scarf comprise this cozy winter set. Made primarily of a cabled rib in the round, the pieces are enhanced by a cabled medallion which proclaims one's knitting prowess. The scarf is knitted circularly in two pieces which are joined in the center; two options for finishing the ends are included. The hat brim is worked flat, then sts are picked up around the long edge for the hat top. The mittens are also worked in the round. Charts and technique boxes are included.
Over Stockinette stitch (after blocking), 22 sts and 28 rows = 4" on larger needle.
