(6) Name: 'Knitting : Ananke
Ananke Ananke

Pattern Description:

Gorgeous hand-dyed sock yarn and a desire for an easy and textured pattern led me to design Ananke.

In Greek mythology, Ananke was the personification of destiny, necessity and fate. She was often depicted holding a spindle. How perfect! I feel that she compelled me to knit this shawl, and a second, and a third. Give in to Ananke and knit one for yourself!

24 sts and 28 rows per 4 in/10cm, although gauge is not crucial

  • US 4 or US 5 circular needles, at least 24" in length
