This unisex hat is worked from the brim to the crown. Using only one skein of yarn (or less!), it's a quick knit when you need a hat in a hurry. Beginning with a garter rib brim, the hat features columns of slipped stitches that transition seamlessly into the crown decreases.
The pattern is available in five sizes, with a finished circumference of 16 (18, 20, 22, 24) in./40.5 (45.5, 50.5, 56, 61) cm and height of 5.75 (6.5, 7.25, 8.25, 9.25) in./14 (16.5, 18.5, 21, 23.5) cm.
20 stitches and 32 rows = 4 in./10 cm in stockinette stitch
I learned to knit from my aunt when I was about 7 years old, but it wasn't until 2005 that I got really serious about the sticks and string. I learned to spin in 2008 and began designing in 2011. Now my house is slowly being taken over by yarn and fiber.
