My name is Nona and I've been an avid knitter and paper crafter for over a decade. In July of 2015, I opened a yarn shop in Edmonds, WA with my mom. It's called All Wound Up, and we hope that you will visit if you are ever in the area.
I'm married to my best friend, Dave, and we have 3 active, intelligent, and precocious kids!
I began designing patterns in 2009 in an effort to raise money for our second daughter's adoption. Now all of the proceeds of my shop, Nona Pearl Creations, is helping pay for our kids' education, as well as sports and other lessons and activities. Kids are expensive! Thank you for helping support our family with every purchase you make!
My aunt and uncle lived in Alameda, CA when I was a little girl, and I loved visiting them and their gorgeous Victorian home. It was stately, and colorful, just like the combination of stitch pattern and yarn in these gloves. This pattern will work wonderfully with variegated and tonal yarns. The stitch definition comes through well even in the most colorful combinations.
