I decided to treat myself this weekend, and knit myself something for a change! This is a super big cowl, which is knitted up quick using chunky yarn, and I thought I would share the pattern with you.
To make the scarf, I used Patons Fab Big yarn in shade 02347. The wool came with a free pattern to knit a scarf on the yarn band although the instructions seemed completely incomprehensible (and a quick Google search showed that I was not alone there!). As I wanted to try out my new huge 20mm needles, I ignored their pattern and made my own!
To make the scarf you will need one skein of Patons Fab Big Yarn (200g), or a similar chunky yarn, and a pair of 20mm straight knitting needles. The finished scarf is approximately 125cm long, and 20cm wide, so long enough to double up and wrap around your neck.
This was a quick knit, in just an afternoon I was wrapped up and warm for winter!
