Pattern Description:

Aerino means airy in Greek.

I created this stitch pattern to make a light and stretchy fabric that's easy to wear. Drape it over your shoulders on a summer evening and then wear it like a scarf in the colder months.

The reverse side has an interesting texture and almost reminds me of a crochet fabric.

Instructions are written, with notes about customizing the width and length.

Finished dimensions after blocking: 188 cm X 35 cm (74" X 14").

The shawl pictured was knitted with a merino yarn but you could try working the pattern in a cotton or linen blend for a cool summer wrap.
