Skill Level:

little skill level requirement Novice

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • garter stitch
  • basic knitting with beads

Pattern Description:

It's just an illusion! Easy, between-stitch beading
magically gives bead stripes in differing directions.
The fully beaded scarf requires the least attention
but there is an option for working the centre section
without beads.

Check that the garter stitch fabric is firm
enough to support the weight of the beads and
that the stitches are snug enough to prevent the
beads from sliding into the adjacent stitches.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Adjustable to suit you, your yarn or your bead supply!

  • 50-100 grams fingering weight yarn
  • approximately 1000 beads Size 6.
  • 3.5mm- 4mm needles

You Will Also Need:

  • dental floss threader for threading the beads

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Celestial Merino Fingering Weight Yarn
