I wanted to make a hat that would make people scream "Isn't that the CUTEST little girl!" I believe that Abigail Rose is that hat! This little hat knits up quickly and is very easy. If you can knit and purl you can make the hat. The flower is super easy (really, it is!) and crochets quickly as well, even for those knitters who aren't such great crocheters! Leave off the flower and this makes a fabulous beanie for a little boy too!

Worsted Weight Yarn (#4 or 10 ply) Main Color

Size 7 (4.5mm) 16" Circular Knitting Needles
Size 7 (4.5mm) Double Pointed Needles
Size 8/H (5mm) Crochet Hook (for flower)
