Ever since my Mum taught me to knit and sew I have loved the creative process and experimenting with design.
I find pillow covers to be the perfect way to combine my love of design and the textures that can be created with a single strand of yarn. I especially love experimenting with cable patterns.
Boot cuffs seem to be everywhere right now, so I decided to knit some for myself and then a friend asked for some. I've probably made a dozen pairs since and refined my pattern as I've gone along!
Knit in chunky/bulky/#5 yarn these boot cuffs knit up super quick for fast and cozy results! They are a women's medium size, with instructions provided on how to increase and decrease the size of the cuffs if required.
The cuffs are knit on straight needles and seamed at the back. Smaller needles are used for a tighter knit at the top and bottom of each cuff to help the cuffs stay up better. The instructions are for a twisted rib (knit into the back of knit stitches) but would work equally well in a standard rib. So grab a ball of yarn and your needles and start knitting!
