You can make the pendant in the pictures in different sizes.
If you want a robust pendant of 3cm diameter, begin with 6mm balls. For a smaller, 2cm diameter pendant, you can use 4mm faceted beads or glass pearls or bicone beads as a basis.
If you choose the smaller size, you will need:
- 30 pcs 4mm beads
- 60 pcs 3mm beads (or 15/0 seed beads instead)
- 1g 15/0 seed beads
- 1g 11/0 seed beads
The tutorial includes drawings and step-by-step phase photos of making the Fifth Element pendant.
With a pinch of creativity, you can make a pair of earrings with the same technique - see on the last picture.
For a pair of earrings you will need:
- 10 pcs 6mm beads (or 4mm beads for smaller size)
- 20 pcs 4mm bicone beads (or 3mm or seed beads for smaller size)
- a couple of 11/0 seed beads (or 15/0 for smaller size)
You can also use seed beads instead of bicone beads for decoration. Replace the bicone bead with two 11/0 seed beads, or 3 15/0 seed beads.
I started beading when I was a child but soon gave up. When I turned thirty, I felt patient enough to re-start.
I started my public beading in 2010, when I launched my facebook page: www.facebook.com/gyongyekszerek
2 years later I started my beading classes.
For those who cannot attend my classes, I created step-by-step tutorials of the most popular topics.
I wish you happy beading!
